Another Political Party Expected to Emerge in Armenia

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that another political party named the Party for Democratic Statehood (ՀԺՊԿ) is set to emerge in Armenia. The founding congress of the party took place on February 11, established by Arsen Sarkisyan, who mentioned that the party was founded on the basis of the patriotic, charitable, and human rights organization "Aratta-Van." Sarkisyan is also the founder of this NGO.

He stated that the party currently does not have official state registration and will discuss its political agenda once it is registered.

In a recent post on the newly created party's Facebook page, Arsen Sarkisyan invites people to join: "O Armenian people, our salvation lies in unity, For the Homeland, For the welfare of the People. If you do not bargain the sovereign territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia, if you do not deny the sacred Ararat, you can join us."
