VIDEO: Don't Play with Fire - Avinyan

During the past week, 452 illegally installed advertisements were dismantled in Yerevan. This was reported during a working consultation at the Yerevan City Hall. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan emphasized that there are partners creating all possible obstacles in the process of dismantling illegal advertisements.

The Mayor pointed out that it cannot be the case that individuals, who combat illegal advertisements using all possible methods, seek assistance from the City Hall with various requests in different sectors. “This is a very important principle, we are one integrated entity, one common team, and if someone is fighting against the regulations established by our council and employing various methods, they should not expect any kind of support in other matters,” said Avinyan, noting that these individuals must understand that the City Hall is a single body, and various departments cannot operate independently from one another.

He emphasized that all departments are a part of the unified entity of the City Hall. “Once again, and for the last time, I want to specifically warn—dear colleagues, don’t play with fire,” concluded Avinyan. More details can be seen in the video.
