Video: Nerkhin Hand Surrounded by 25 Illegal Azerbaijani Armed Positions, 15 of Which are on Armenian Territory, Tatoyan

The Center for Law and Justice, founded by Tatoyan, has presented reports of Azerbaijani crimes in Nerkhin Hand, including the positions from which Armenian servicemen were killed.

1. Nerkhin Hand is surrounded on three sides by 25 illegal Azerbaijani armed positions, 15 of which are within the village, that is, on Armenian territory.

2. From the Azerbaijani positions, four Armenian servicemen were killed and one was wounded on February 13, 2024.

3. The furthest distance from these illegal armed Azerbaijani positions in Nerkhin Hand, located within Armenian territory, is approximately 2,060 meters (from the border into the country).

4. The closest Azerbaijani illegal armed position to the school in Nerkhin Hand is 769 meters away.

5. The drinking water springs, St. Hripsime Church, and the cemetery in Nerkhin Hand are under Azerbaijani occupation. People are forced to drink river water.

6. The orchards, pastures, hayfields, and arable land in Nerkhin Hand are under Azerbaijani occupation, leading to the disappearance of livestock farming.

7. A total of 2,700 hectares in Nerkhin Hand is under Azerbaijani occupation, from which: 1. 2,400 hectares are specially protected lands. 2. 170 hectares are forest lands. 3. 130 hectares are community lands. In addition to these 2,700 hectares, more than 1,000 hectares have found themselves in a dangerous zone where agricultural or other work is either impossible or significantly complicated due to real dangers to life.

8. Azerbaijani servicemen in Nerkhin Hand are destroying the flora and fauna and constructing illegal roads.

9. Gunfire and explosions from mines are heard from the Azerbaijani armed positions surrounding Nerkhin Hand.
