Morocco Calls for Investigation into Mass Killings of Palestinians Awaiting Humanitarian Aid
Morocco has called for an investigation into an incident in Gaza where Palestinian civilians awaiting humanitarian assistance were killed as a result of what has been described as an "Israeli forces attack," Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita stated in Riyadh.
"The Kingdom of Morocco strongly condemns the attacks by Israeli forces on Palestinian civilians awaiting humanitarian aid on Al-Rashid Street in northern Gaza, which have led to dozens of casualties and hundreds of injured," the minister said.
According to the Israeli Defense Forces, several residents of Gaza died during a stampede and under the wheels of trucks delivering humanitarian assistance to the northern enclave. Meanwhile, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has commented on the "bloodshed among Gaza's civilian population."
