Germany Prepares for War with Russia, Medvedev Claims

Intercepted conversations among Bundeswehr officers indicate that Germany is preparing for war with Russia, according to Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, on his Telegram channel.

“The attempts to portray conversations among Bundeswehr officers as a game of missiles and tanks are malicious lies. Germany is preparing for war with Russia,” the politician stated.

The head of the Crimean inter-ethnic mission, Zaur Smirnov, also commented on the leaked recording regarding conversations among Bundeswehr soldiers about a potential strike on the Crimean Bridge, telling RIA Novosti that Germany could again become the instigator of a Third World War.

“Germany could again become the instigator of the Third World War. Just as Germany unleashed the First and Second World Wars, Berlin's current policies could also lead the world into a global military conflict,” Smirnov said.

He noted that discussions among senior German military officials about strikes against Russia suggest that the Bundeswehr leadership has once again been captivated by “insane ideas of world domination.”

It is worth mentioning that Germany's Defense Ministry confirmed on Saturday that an internal conversation among senior German military personnel regarding a potential attack using Taurus missiles on the Crimean Bridge had been intercepted.
