Video: Drone Crashes and Explodes Near Residential Building in St. Petersburg

A drone has crashed and exploded near a residential building in St. Petersburg. The governor of St. Petersburg reported on the incident that took place in the Krasnogvardeisky district but did not specify the details of the event.

“There are no casualties. The glass facades of two apartment balconies have been partially damaged. Residents of the affected apartments have been evacuated,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Emergency situations and law enforcement personnel are working at the scene. An operational headquarters has been formed, led by St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov.

According to reports from other Russian media, the drone crashed near a residential building on Piskarevsky Avenue. Windows in apartments were shattered due to the explosion. Emergency services are present at the site. There is currently no official information regarding the incident.
