Canada Announces New Sanctions Against Russia

Canada has announced new sanctions against Russia in connection with the death of Alexei Navalny. This was reported by Reuters, referencing Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly, as reported by TASS.

The sanctions target “six Russian officials, including high-ranking officials and senior employees of the Russian Prosecutor's Office, judiciary, and correctional services.”

It is worth noting that on February 16, the FSB department for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug announced Navalny's death.
