US Delivers First Humanitarian Aid to Gaza via Military Aircraft
The American C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft has completed its first delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. This is reported by Reuters citing its sources.
According to their information, more than 35,000 food parcels have been delivered by air. The aircraft did not carry any water or medicine. A total of 66 loads have been dropped, with 22 from each aircraft.
Later, the US Central Command confirmed this information. According to their announcement, Jordanian and US air forces conducted a "joint aerial operation to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip to provide necessary assistance to civilians affected by the ongoing conflict." The command emphasized that Washington "plans possible further actions to provide air assistance."
