Armenia Ready to Open Border with Turkey, Says Ruben Rubinyan

Armenia is ready to open its border with Turkey and fully restore diplomatic relations. This was stated by Ruben Rubinyan, the special representative for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey and the Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, in an interview with CNN Türk.

“As of today, we do not see any obstacles to the complete normalization of relations with Turkey and the establishment of diplomatic relations. We are ready to open the border today,” said Rubinyan.

According to him, Yerevan expects political will from Ankara on this issue.
