Why Some Products Ordered via Ozon Are Not Arriving in Yerevan: Clarification
Today, the newspaper "Zhoghovurd" published an article titled "Orders made through the Ozon online platform have not arrived for over a month, and it seems there is no one at the office." Tert.am has obtained a clarification from Ashot Hakverdyan, the commercial director of Ozon Armenia:
“Last week, we encountered certain difficulties at the customs checkpoint while delivering separate groups of products. This concerns only 1% of the assortment presented on the marketplace. We immediately informed customers that we could not deliver these limited product types and have temporarily suspended their availability on the marketplace for the Armenian market. The remaining items, which have been delayed due to the aforementioned issue, will reach the buyers in the coming days. Certainly, customers need to receive updated information about delivery times and order status. Our support service specialists are responding promptly to customer inquiries and providing additional information on new delivery dates. It should also be noted that Ozon’s pickup points operate as franchises. Employees selected by the pickup point owners work there and are responsible only for transferring the products to customers.”
