Poland to Launch Military Satellites into Space

Poland is planning to launch a series of military observation satellites by 2025, said the country’s Deputy Defense Minister. “Next year, as the Ministry of Defense and the Polish Army, we aim to put our first Polish satellites into orbit,” said Szezar Tomczik during a press conference.

Poland intends to acquire a satellite system equipped with radar and optical technologies that will allow for Earth observation regardless of weather conditions, and will utilize both foreign and domestic technologies,” he added.
