Construction Work Decreases in Yerevan: 'Zhoghovurd'

Construction activity in Armenia is experiencing a downturn. This is reported by the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd'.

The newspaper was informed that in January 2024, the growth rate in the construction sector has significantly decreased compared to the previous year. 'In January 2024, construction growth stood at 9.5%, which is about 2.7 percentage points lower than January of the previous year, and approximately 6 percentage points lower than the average monthly figure of the previous year. This means that less construction has taken place in January. Of course, it may be related to the weather, but nevertheless, all analyses indicate that the pace of large-scale construction in the capital is slowing down,' the newspaper wrote.
