No German Soldiers or NATO Troops Will Be Sent to Ukraine, Says Scholz
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has ruled out sending German and NATO troops to Ukraine. “We will not allow an escalation of the war, that is, a war between Russia and NATO. There will be no German soldiers or NATO troops on Ukrainian soil, as otherwise it would pose a serious threat,” Scholz stated during a conversation with citizens in Dresden. The discussion was broadcast live on the government’s website.
