Edmon Marukyan Resigns from His Position

Edmon Marukyan has announced on his Facebook page that he is resigning from the position of Ambassador at Large. “Dear compatriots, I inform you that I have submitted my resignation to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from the position of Ambassador at Large of the Republic of Armenia. During this challenging time for our country and the region, I have taken on this mission with high responsibility and dedication. However, recently, differences in our visions regarding several fundamental issues of foreign policy have made my continued involvement in the foreign policy sphere impossible.

I assure you that I will continue to serve the state and the people, and I will invest my knowledge and experience, as well as international connections, in protecting the national-state interests of the Republic of Armenia. God bless the Republic of Armenia.”
