Georgia Hands Over Wanted Individual to Armenia for Drug Trafficking via Telegram

The relevant authorities of Georgia have granted the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia and handed over the wanted individual, H.G., to Armenian law enforcement agencies.

H.G. is accused of participating in a criminal scheme involving the sale of large quantities of narcotics including cocaine, methamphetamine, LSD, marijuana, and MDMA through online shop platforms created and managed on the Telegram messaging application since 2019. The alleged criminal activity resulted in the legalization of particularly large financial proceeds amounting to 1 billion 155 million 518 thousand drams.

H.G. has been transferred to Yerevan.
