Former Red Army Faction Terrorist Arrested in Berlin After 30 Years on the Run

A former member of the Red Army Faction (RAF), a notorious terrorist organization, has been arrested in Berlin after being on the run for more than 30 years, according to Nexta.

Daniela Klette had been living quietly in Berlin over the past two decades, going shopping, walking her dog, and interacting with her neighbors.

Klette is associated with the so-called third generation of the RAF, a leftist terrorist group that has operated in West Germany since 1968, engaging in murders, kidnappings, hostage-taking, and various terrorist attacks.

From 1970 until the early 1990s, the group has been linked to the deaths of 34 individuals, including numerous police officers, high-ranking business leaders, and political figures.

It is believed that Klette is responsible for various attacks, including the bombing of the Weitertstadt prison on March 27, 1993, and an assault on the U.S. Embassy in Bonn on February 13, 1991.

Klette's neighbor stated, "She called herself Claudia and was very friendly, enjoying walks with her dog."
