7th Grade Parents File Lawsuit Against Ministry of Education Over History Textbook

Parents of 7th-grade students have filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports regarding the 'History of Armenia' textbook. This was reported by lawyer Ara Zohrapyan on his Facebook page.

“I inform you that, along with the parents of 7th-grade students, we have filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports at the Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia. We have requested the court to declare null and void the minister’s order number 1342-A/2 dated August 3, 2023, which guarantees the use of the 7th grade 'History of Armenia' textbook authored by S. Hovhannisyan, which presents the history of Movses Khorenatsi as mythological and discredits the History of Armenia,” he wrote.
