Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Reports Soldier Missing

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense has reported that one of its soldiers has gone missing due to adverse weather conditions.

“On the morning of February 28, Azerbaijani Army soldier Panahov Ruslan Eldaniz oglu became lost while moving between service positions in the Lachin region under poor weather conditions. Search operations have been urgently initiated to locate our serviceman,” the statement in their release reads.

It is worth noting that earlier reports had circulated claiming that two Azerbaijani soldiers had crossed the border.
