Apple Cancels Plans to Develop Its Own Electric Car
Apple has abandoned its plans to develop an electric vehicle, according to Bloomberg. Approximately 2,000 people were working on the project, and they will be transferred to a division focused on artificial intelligence development. Meanwhile, it remains unclear what will happen to several hundred engineers and automotive designers.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has already responded to the announcement of the project’s cancellation by posting a waving hand emoji.
