Trump's Son Receives Suspicious Powder in the Mail
The eldest son of former President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., received a letter containing an unknown powder through the mail, which led to the presence of multiple fire trucks and individuals in chemical protective gear near his home, according to The Daily Beast. The information was relayed by RIA Novosti.
Trump Jr.'s representative, who plays a significant role in his father's campaign, confirmed the reports regarding the suspicious correspondence and stated that authorities have not yet determined what the contents of the letter are, but they do not consider the powder to be life-threatening.
“The results of the analyses have not provided a definitive answer as to what it specifically is; however, officials on scene do not believe it to be deadly,” the spokesperson is quoted as saying by The Daily Beast.
According to sources cited in the report, Trump Jr. opened the letter at his home in Jupiter, Florida, and white powder from the envelope spilled into the room.
“Numerous fire trucks and individuals in protective suits have been observed near Donald Trump Jr.'s residence in Jupiter, Florida,” the publication notes.
