The West Must Reject Zelensky's Proposed 'Peace Formula': Zakharova

The US and its allies must abandon the promotion of what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky calls the 'peace formula' for resolving the situation in Ukraine. This statement was made by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in connection with the G7 leaders’ statement, according to TASS.

'Russia did not start the war; it seeks to end it and is taking necessary, albeit forced, decisive actions, including the implementation of its military operations. To support the resolution not just in words, but in deeds, the US and its allies must reject Zelensky's unacceptable 'formula,' cease all support for Kyiv's neo-Nazi regime, and meet Russia's legitimate demands regarding the security of its interests in Europe,' Zakharova stated.
