Simonyan States Number of Confirmed Prisoners in Azerbaijan

Currently, there are approximately 25 confirmed prisoners in Baku, including former leaders of Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a press conference with journalists.

"Negotiations regarding them are ongoing. There was a time when we did not discuss prisoners, but later the process continued, and a large number of prisoners were returned. Negotiations are always happening," he said.

Alen Simonyan assured that Armenian state officials always raise the issue of prisoners during meetings with officials from other countries. He guaranteed that everything possible will be done for their return.
