Polling Stations for Russian Presidential Elections Will Not Open in Georgia
Polling stations for the Russian presidential elections will not be opened in Georgia due to the lack of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Russian interests section at the Swiss Embassy in Tbilisi announced on Tuesday, as reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the section's statement, "It is impossible to establish and fully operate polling stations for the elections of the President of the Russian Federation or the deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in Georgia under the conditions of the absence of diplomatic relations between our countries."
