Israel Purchased $10 Billion in Domestic Weapons During the War
Since the onset of military operations on October 7 of last year in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Ministry of Defense has purchased nearly $10 billion in weapons from local manufacturers, according to a statement from the ministry's press service.
"During nearly five months of war, the Ministry of Defense has made purchases exceeding $10 billion from Israeli suppliers. The Ministry continues to make round-the-clock purchases in Israel to meet the needs of the defense forces and to increase independence from foreign supplies," the statement said.
