Armenians Have Already Made Their Choice: Alen Simonyan

Extraordinary elections in Armenia are unacceptable. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan during a conversation with journalists in the parliament.

According to him, this is an attempt to evade responsibility. “The citizens of Armenia have already made their choice; such a question is not being discussed and has not been discussed,” said Simonyan.

He added, “The CP has taken on responsibility and will carry it through to the end.”

The Speaker of the National Assembly noted, “We have a mission to bring peace to Armenia and the region; after that, the time for elections will come, we will present our vision, the opposition will present theirs, and the people of Armenia will again go to free and fair elections and choose the authorities they deem fit.”
