The key to Russia's future lies in ensuring that the younger generation has reliable guidance, including traditional values. This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin in a video address to participants of the Knowledge Society Awards.

“The key to the country’s future and its developmental continuity is that young people have reliable guidelines in life, so that they consider our traditional values truly their own and draw lessons from the best examples of both domestic and world culture—literature, scientific achievements, and education,” said the head of state.

Furthermore, the president emphasized that young people should know Russia’s history, as well as the names of its true heroes and creators, since this forms the basis of our national identity.

Interestingly, earlier, during a speech at the forum “Strong Ideas for a New Time”, Putin stated that Russia is tolerant towards people with non-traditional sexual orientations. He mentioned that no one restricts these individuals, the main point being that they do not harm children.
