The $8 Million Documentary by the Supreme Judicial Council was Filmed by 'Sharm Holding'
The Supreme Judicial Council recently produced a documentary titled "Delayed Justice and Judicial Corruption: When and How Will It End," which cost 8 million AMD to create. Hayastan.news sent an inquiry to the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, seeking information about the film's budget. In response, Deputy Chairman Arshak Vardapetyan stated that the budget falls under the authority of the production company, while revealing that the video was made by 'Sharm Holding'.
Vardapetyan elaborated, "The budgetary funds were allocated based on the offer submitted by 'Sharm Holding,' which was recognized as the winner of the bidding process. Regarding the allocation of funds, we inform you that it rests within the discretion of the organization, as the contract was signed with the aim of obtaining the final result. According to the legislation of the Republic of Armenia on procurement, information on the distribution of funds within the organization is not required."
When asked how the speakers were selected, the Supreme Judicial Council indicated that the selection was made based on the field and areas of expertise.
