Details have emerged regarding a scandalous incident in Vanadzor, where a man is suspected of engaging in sexual relations with the president of a housing cooperative under the threat of murder. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
The website published news on February 15 about an employee of the housing cooperative extorting a significant amount of money from the president. It has now come to light that, within the framework of a criminal case initiated by the Investigative Committee of Armenia in the Lori province, it was also discovered that the man had committed a sexually violent act.
It was established that, at the office of the housing cooperative in Vanadzor, he threatened the president with murder and, against her will, had sexual relations with her.
A criminal case has been initiated in the Lori regional investigative department based on the characteristics of Article 198, Part 2, Point 3 of the RA Criminal Code for the mentioned act.
Additionally, another criminal case has been initiated against this individual based on Article 254, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, where operational information suggests that the man had stolen construction tools and materials worth approximately half a million drams from the cooperative.
Previously, the website reported that the criminal investigation department of the Taroni Police had received operational information regarding abuses by the president of one of the housing cooperatives in Vanadzor. In particular, by reporting low salaries to employees, he failed to allocate funds paid by residents for their intended purpose. The tools listed in the cooperative's records, which were purchased with money collected from local residents for community construction projects, did not exist.
On the same day, the operational unit in the criminal investigation department received additional operational information that the former employee of the cooperative had, leveraging his relationship with the president, repeatedly threatened her and extorted approximately 1,350,000 drams collected from the residents for their needs.
