It's a 'Mockup': Police Chief on the Object Found Near CP Office

The explosive device found near the Civil Contract Party office was not real, but rather a 'mockup'. It does not pose any danger. This was announced by Police Chief Aram Hovhannisyan.

"We attempted to defuse it, but it does not represent anything harmful," he stated.

As previously reported, around 1:40 PM today, the operational management center of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call that a bomb had been planted in the yard of the building at 30/3 Gyulbenkian Street and that it would explode. The address houses the Civil Contract party office.

Rescue and bomb disposal teams were dispatched to the scene. Earlier, the police confirmed in a conversation with Aurora News that an object resembling an explosive was detected at the specified address.
