Protest in Front of the Mother See in Support of the Armenian Apostolic Church

A protest is taking place in front of the Mother See in support of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church. Participants of the protest emphasize that their goal is to make it clear to the world and to those who attempt to infringe upon the Church and the spiritual fathers that they will never achieve their aims.

Earlier, the "Ejmiatsin" alliance announced: “We are all well-aware of the recent dirty actions against the Armenian Apostolic Church carried out by certain adventurers, which have been met with sharp resistance from us from the very beginning. Through unified actions, the municipality canceled previously permitted anti-church and anti-national protests planned by the 'Vardanank' movement, as well as fostered significant consolidation to protect the Armenian Church from infringements. After all this, many times on social media, a so-called organization named 'Vardanank' has declared that it is canceling and postponing its protests in Ejmiatsin. However, we believe it is essential to remain vigilant and persistently fight against any activities carried out by such incomprehensible and desecrating individuals.

In light of the above and considering the moral character of these individuals, we invite everyone to come to the Mother See of Holy Ejmiatsin on February 24, at 11:30 AM, near the altar of Saint Trdat (open altar). The Armenian Apostolic Church is the Sanctum of the Holy of Holies.”
