G7 Countries Threaten Sanctions Against Those Supporting Russia

Following the summit, the G7 countries issued a joint communiqué threatening sanctions against countries and companies supporting Russia in the Ukrainian conflict.

"We will continue to take measures against third-country entities that materially support the war waged by Russia, and we will take additional measures, if necessary, against legal persons from third countries," the document states.

The G7 leaders also called for refraining from supporting the Russian military-industrial complex and condemned the actions of North Korea and Iran, as they believe those countries are supplying weapons to Russia.

Additionally, the outcomes of the online summit determined to continue tightening the price cap on Russian oil and to work towards limiting Moscow's revenues from energy resource sales.
