Alexei Navalny's Body Handed Over to His Mother

The body of Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny has been handed over to his mother. This was announced by Navalny's press secretary Kira Yarmish.

“For now, Lyudmila Ivanovna is in Salekhard. We are still waiting for the funeral. We do not know whether the authorities will obstruct it being carried out in the way the family wishes and how Alexei deserves. We will inform you as soon as the information becomes available,” she wrote on her 'X' page.
