Video: Enjoying Nature, Walk to Yerevan – Pashinyan on Taxing Migrant Workers and Show Business
Representatives of the show business must pay taxes. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a government meeting. According to him, those who fail to pay should bear the legal consequences.
“Those going abroad for work go from the airport, right? Who builds the road to that airport? It is constructed through paid taxes. So when workers in Armenia say, ‘Wait a minute, why should we pay for the road to be built for those going abroad, why should they benefit at our expense?’ Let them pay taxes and then go. They say, ‘We've gone to Los Angeles for a concert.’ Where did you leave from, what road did you take? So don’t take advantage of a road built with the taxes paid in Armenia. Cut the reeds from the side roads and walk to the airport that way. Is it only the shoes that wear out, does the road not wear out too? What kind of attitude is this? Or enjoy nature and walk to Yerevan through the gorge of Zangu,” Pashinyan declared.
