Tense Situation in Kasakh: There Is a Fatality, Damaged Vehicles Found at the Scene of the Brawl
Today, February 23, a tense situation has developed in the Kotayk region, resulting in a fatality. Around 17:30, operational information was received that an accident, argument, brawl, stabbing, and hooliganism took place in the village of Kasakh.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reporting from the scene, one person has been stabbed and was transported to the 'Armenia' Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries without regaining consciousness.
Several vehicles, including a 'Hummer', 'Mercedes', 'Niva', and 'VAZ-06', were discovered at the mentioned location. The 'Niva', 'Mercedes', and '06' were completely damaged. The 'Hummer' collided with the 'Niva', then hit the '06', continued for several hundred meters, crashed into the 'Mercedes', and finally came to a stop.
A damaged 'Mazda' was also found about 1 km from the accident site in the yard of one of the buildings. The photojournalist also reports that a burned 'Mercedes' was discovered several kilometers away from the scene, and it is currently being investigated whether this vehicle is related to the incident.
Several citizens gathered at the scene told the photojournalist that the owner of the 'Hummer' is one of the proprietors of well-known gas stations in Armenia. They also noted that months ago, other vehicles had been vandalized in the village. According to their assumptions, a 'vendetta' cannot be ruled out.
