Sergei Edilyan Appointed Honorary Consul of Armenia in Ohio, USA

By the order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Sergei Edilyan has been appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Ohio, USA. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in the USA.

The office of the honorary consul will focus on strengthening Armenian-American cultural, commercial, and economic ties.

Sergei Edilyan was born in 1977 in Yerevan, into a family of lawyers. After receiving legal education, he began working at the Yerevan Prosecutor's Office, followed by a position at the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.

In 2000, Edilyan moved to the USA, where he continued his education at Cleveland State University, earning a master's degree.

Sergei Edilyan is the president of Alpha Tek Automation, Inc. and American Truck Equipment. He is also a member of the parish council of the St. Gregory of Narek Church in Cleveland and is actively involved in community life. He is married and has three children.
