Vladimir Putin Gifts Car to Kim Jong Un

Representatives of North Korea's Workers' Party, who are visiting Moscow, have received a car as a gift from Russian President Vladimir Putin for North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The Russian leader presented a Russian-made personal vehicle to his North Korean counterpart, according to a report by the country's Central Telegraph Agency (CTNA).

"The gift that President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has sent to friend Kim Jong Un is a clear demonstration of the special close ties between the leaders of the two countries and is the best gift," the publication notes.

It can be assumed that the vehicle in question is the Aurus limousine, which the Russian president showed to Kim Jong Un during his visit to Russia last autumn. Earlier, it was reported that the DPRK parliament had approved the cessation of nearly all economic ties with South Korea.
