Photos: Arman Tatoyan and the Catholicos Meet to Discuss the Situation in Nerkin Hand and the Consequences of Azerbaijani Attacks

At the invitation of Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, former Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia Arman Tatoyan participated in today’s session of the Supreme Spiritual Council at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

The council discussed the ongoing developments around Armenia and Artsakh. On this symbolic day, which reflects the determination of the Armenian people and their will to uphold their rights, the return of those forcibly displaced from Artsakh, the preservation of Artsakh's spiritual and cultural heritage, and a number of other issues were addressed.

Tatoyan presented the results of fact-finding work conducted a few days ago in the Nerkin Hand village of the Syunik region, where four Armenian servicemen were killed due to the illegal Azerbaijan military presence. These armed units have disrupted the normal life and security of the local population.
