Hakob Mkrtchyan Becomes European Champion in Weightlifting, Davit Hovhannisyan Takes Silver

In the 96 kg weight category of the European Weightlifting Championship, Hakob Mkrtchyan has been crowned the champion, while Davit Hovhannisyan has secured the silver medal.

Hakob Mkrtchyan achieved a total lift of 375 kg (166+209), marking the second time in his career that he has claimed the title of European Champion, while Davit Hovhannisyan recorded a total of 374 kg (169+205) to finish as the silver medalist.

It is noteworthy that in the snatch event, Hovhannisyan earned a bronze medal with a lift of 169 kg, while Mkrtchyan lifted 166 kg to take home a silver in the same category.
