Major Accident in Yerevan: BMW Breaks Iron Barriers and Ends Up in River, Injuries Reported

Today, on February 17, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 03:00, a BMW vehicle left the traffic lane under unknown circumstances near the "Bellagio" restaurant complex on Myasnikyan Avenue, collided with iron barriers over the Getar river, broke approximately 40 meters of the barriers, and ended up overturned in the river. As a result of the accident, three individuals in the vehicle were injured: 27-year-old Koryan Aprasyan from Gegharkunik Province, 25-year-old Aram Manukyan from Lori Province, and 28-year-old Vahe Hovhannisyan, also from Gegharkunik Province. They were transported to Heratsi University Hospital No. 1 with bodily injuries.

All the injured were carried out on stretchers, and before being transported to the hospital, doctors provided first aid at the scene.
