US Vice President Meets with Navalny's Widow in Munich
US Vice President Kamala Harris met with Alexei Navalny's widow, Yulia, in Munich. This was reported by a White House representative to reporters.
“Vice President Harris met with Alexei Navalny’s wife (widow), Yulia Navalnaya, during the Munich Security Conference. The Vice President expressed her sorrow and outrage regarding the reports of his death,” the representative stated.
On February 16, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported the death of Alexei Navalny in prison. According to the agency, Navalny felt unwell and lost consciousness after a walk. Doctors immediately began to assist the inmate and attempted resuscitation for more than half an hour.
