Unrestrained and Unacceptable: Peskov on Western Officials' Statements Regarding Navalny's Death
Moscow considers statements by Western political figures regarding Alexei Navalny's death to be unrestrained and unacceptable, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.
“The statements from Western countries are quite obvious. ... There is no information about the causes of death, and such statements are being made; clearly, they are absolutely unrestrained. We consider them completely unacceptable,” Peskov told reporters.
According to the data from the Federal Penitentiary Service's Yamalo-Nenets division, Navalny felt unwell after a walk on Friday, lost consciousness, and died. Preliminary information from RT sources suggests that the cause of the inmate's death was a thrombus. The exact causes of death are being investigated.
