The West Aims to Disrupt the Situation in the South Caucasus: Patrushev
Julya
The West seeks to create turmoil in the South Caucasus and obstruct the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace process. This was stated by Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council.
“We also see the West's attempts to shake the situation in the South Caucasus and to interfere with the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement, which has led to a deterioration of the situation in the given regions,” Patrushev said during a speech at a meeting of security council secretaries in Bishkek focused on the Afghan issue.
