We Propose to Accelerate the Demarcation Process with Azerbaijan: Armenian Foreign Ministry
Edita
The spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry has made a statement regarding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s remarks at the governmental session on February 15. In response, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has issued a comment, prompting the need to remind that on October 6, 2022, in Prague, Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed in writing to recognize each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty based on the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991. Furthermore, it was agreed that the Alma-Ata Declaration would serve as the political basis for the demarcation process.
We propose to accelerate the demarcation process based on this agreement and reaffirm the readiness of the Republic of Armenia.
