PHOTOS: Azerbaijan Destroys Armenian Heritage in Occupied Hadrut

On December 8, 2023, Azerbaijan has announced plans to demolish various structures in the occupied region of Hadrut under the pretext of construction work, including those of historical significance. This alarming information comes from the Office of the Ombudsman of Culture of Haik.

“The vandalism policy is violating the historical appearance of Hadrut city. This is an inseparable part of the cultural genocide policy being carried out at the state level by Azerbaijan. By destroying and appropriating Armenian cultural heritage, the artificially created state of Azerbaijan aims to erase the Armenian presence in the region,” the statement said.
