Georg Papoyan Currently at the Government: Is His Candidacy for Minister of Economy Being Discussed?

According to ArmLur.am, MP Georg Papoyan from the ruling Civil Contract faction is currently at the government offices. It is not ruled out that his candidacy is being considered for the position of Minister of Economy.

In a previous conversation with ArmLur.am, Papoyan mentioned that his candidacy had not been discussed within the party. What decision Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will make, and whether an agreement on this issue will be reached with the MP, will become clear in the near future.

It is worth noting that it was announced yesterday that Vahan Kerobyan has been relieved of his duties as Minister of Economy.
