Fire Erupts in Central Moscow

A fire has broken out in central Moscow in the area surrounding the "Izvestia" hall on Pushkinskaya Square. This was reported to TASS by emergency services. The fire occurred at address Pushkinskaya Square, 3, within the "Izvestia" hall building, where the roof has burned, according to a source from the agency. No information about casualties has been provided.

Later, emergency services clarified that several buildings in the courtyard area were also burning. Firefighters have managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the "Izvestia" hall building.

Traffic has been restricted as a result of the fire fighting efforts.
