Armenia to Have Military Attachés in NATO and OSCE
Military attachés will replace Armenian representatives at NATO and the OSCE. This decision was made at today's Government meeting.
According to the decision, a military attaché for defense issues of Armenia will operate in conjunction with the Republic of Armenia's mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) based in Brussels, Belgium.
Additionally, a military attaché for defense issues will also function within the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe connected to Armenia’s NATO mission, with its seat located in Mons, Belgium.
Moreover, within the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), a military attaché for defense issues of Armenia will be established, stationed in Vienna, Austria.
Thus, Armenia is strengthening its presence in key international organizations. Previously, Armenia had a representative in NATO and a Ministry of Defense representative in the OSCE.
