The Individual Arrested with CP Secretary Arthur Hovhannisyan in a Drug Case is in Critical Condition
The health of the individual arrested alongside Arthur Hovhannisyan in a drug-related case is deteriorating. He has accumulated debts. This was reported by the newspaper "Yerevan Times".
As previously noted, the secretary of the ruling "Civil Contract" faction in the National Assembly, Arthur Hovhannisyan, was taken to the police on November 28, 2017, along with Yerevan resident Gevorg Savtalyan in a Nissan March vehicle. During a search, a substance weighing 0.24 grams was discovered. The police detained Hovhannisyan and Savtalyan on suspicion of committing an alleged crime related to drug trafficking.
According to information from the "Datalex" information system, various organizations are demanding money from Gevorg Savtalyan, who was arrested alongside MP Hovhannisyan and threatened to cut off the ear and tongue of the opposition Ombudsman candidate Edgar Ghazaryan. "Ameriabank," "Mogo," "Good Credit," and Yerevan Medical University are demanding amounts ranging from 15,000 to 63,000 AMD through the courts.
Judging by Gevorg Savtalyan's Facebook page, Arthur Hovhannisyan is his only and irreplaceable friend, who, however, has left his friend helpless in times of trouble," the newspaper states.
