No One Can Guarantee That There Is No Risk of Captivity, Says Administrative Head of Nerkin Hand
In Nerkin Hand, life has returned to normal following the shooting incidents from the previous day. In an interview with Factinfo, the community's administrative head, Khachatur Baghdasaryan, stated that everything is normal, and even the school has reopened.
“The school did not operate yesterday, but it is functioning today,” he noted.
Regarding the fact that the village is surrounded from three sides, and that the village's church, cemeteries, drinking water sources, heights, and valleys are under enemy control, Baghdasaryan expressed reluctance to comment.
“In this respect, nothing has changed; this situation was present yesterday as well, on the first day. No one can guarantee that there won’t be gunfire tomorrow, or that there is no risk of captivity, but we are carrying on with our lives,” he said.
When asked if any villagers are migrating, Baghdasaryan responded negatively. “No one has left; everyone is here.”
