Tensions Rise in Village, Says Nerkhni Hand Leader

Tensions are rising in the village. This was stated by Khachatur Baghdasarian, the head of the Nerkhni Hand administrative district, in an interview with ‘Azatutyun’.

He noted that gunfire was directed towards the positions, and the sounds of gunfire could be heard in Nerkhni Hand from around 3 AM to 6:30 AM. “The gunfire was directed towards the positions, but it was not intense; there were intermittent strong noises which then ceased,” he said in an interview with Armlur.am. “I currently do not have clear information on the injured or casualties.”

The district head also mentioned that it has been calm for about 40 minutes now, and no gunfire has been heard.
